Womenswear Pattern Cutting/Grading jersey and woven
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a skilled pattern cutter to make production-ready patterns. The line is built mainly with jersey, so experience with stretch fabrics, negative ease, and knit construction is crucial. The line also includes woven pieces such as jackets, pants, blouses and dresses.
You will receive a tech pack including: A detailed garment sketch, spec sheet, and fit notes. From there, I’m looking for clean digital patterns graded S-XL, complete with seam allowances, grainlines, notches, and a measurement chart. Files should be delivered in DXF, AI, or Gerber along with printable PDFs.
Acceptance criteria
• Accurate patterns ready for factory use with accurate grading in the specified size range.
• Seam allowances, notches, grainline and trims clearly marked
• Measurements match the chart within ±3 mm and nest correctly
• Final files supplied digitally, ready for marker making
First patterns are needed within a week, with the initial payment, and final approved patterns after the first sample, which will include fitting comments and alterations. If everything runs smoothly, I’ll have fresh styles each month as an ongoing collaboration.
