Urgent Indian Electrical Design Engineer / MEP Electrical Consultant needed -- 2

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer / MEP Electrical Consultant to prepare the complete electrical design package for a commercial office interior fit-out project in Tamil Nadu, India. The project requires a professional design output suitable for coordination, tendering, and construction documentation. The work must be BIM-based using Autodesk Revit 2025, with properly coordinated layouts, schedules, calculations, and drawings.

Project drawings, design information, and documentation are confidential. The selected freelancer may be required to sign an NDA before receiving full project files.

Scope of Work:

The selected freelancer shall handle the Electrical, Lighting, ELV, Earthing, Lightning Protection, UPS/DG coordination, and related BIM documentation.

1. Electrical Power Design
- Electrical load estimation and demand assessment
- MDB, SMDB, DB sizing
- Single Line Diagram from incoming supply to final sub-circuits
- Normal power, UPS power, and essential/DG-backed power distribution
- Cable sizing based on voltage drop, current capacity, and short-circuit rating
- Cable tray and conduit routing layout
- Small power layout including sockets, floor boxes, workstation power, pantry power, etc.
- DB schedules with circuit references, MCB/MCCB ratings, cable sizes, and load details

2. UPS / DG / Power Quality
- UPS system sizing and backup requirement review
- DG set integration with ATS/AMF, where applicable
- Power factor correction / APFC panel design, if required
- Energy metering and sub-metering strategy

3. Earthing and Lightning Protection
- Earthing layout as per IS 3043
- Lightning protection layout as per Indian / IEC standards
- Bonding and safety earthing details

4. Lighting Design
- Lighting layout for office, cabins, meeting rooms, corridors, washrooms, pantry, utility areas, etc.
- Lux level calculation and lighting simulation using DIALux / Relux / AGi32
- Lighting fixture schedule
- Emergency lighting and exit sign layout
- Lighting control strategy including sensors, daylight control, and dimming where applicable

5. ELV Systems
- Structured cabling provisions
- CCTV layout
- Access control provisions
- PA system / AV provisions where required
- ELV schematic and layout drawings

6. BIM / Revit Requirements
- All drawings must be developed in Autodesk Revit 2025
- Electrical model must be coordinated with architectural, interior, HVAC, plumbing, and fire layouts
- Cable trays, conduits, panels, sockets, lights, sensors, & major electrical elements be properly modelled
- Clash coordination support through Navisworks / ACC
- Revit schedules must be suitable for BOQ extraction
