Toolbox Design
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have started designing a tray for a 4wd and I'm stuck on designing the under tray toolboxes which have a slight cut back on it and will require a door on the front which will end up be flush with the outside of tray.
1. I need someone to create a sheet metal part out of the shape i've created in the assembly labeled Toolbox
2. It will need to be a multi body sheet metal part due to the size of the box and each side will require two bends on it as seen in Example Toolbox.SLDPRT
3. On the front face which will be the face with the two bends on each part there will need to be a door with 20mm lips all around and the door should be set 25mm off the front toobox face which will make it flush when inside the Tray Assembly.
4. Please supply original cad design as i'll need to be able to reverse engineer how this part was made when I go to do similar parts in the future.
I've supplied some sample pictures of end fabrication result and examples of basic toolboxes that i've done on solidworks that have the same bends that we want on this design.
*Front Face.PNG represents the face we need the two bends on which will follow the outside perimeter of the highlighted surfaces
*Example Toolbox.SLDPRT is an older toolbox we made which has the same bends and door that we want on this new design but the only difference is there is a cut back on the new design which follows the profile of the rear tray
