I'm seeking an experienced structural engineer to perform calculations for two steel beams. One of the beams will serve as: (1) the header for a large opening in an end wall (approx. a 20 foot opening) and will also support one side of an aluminum pergola (that has slats that open and close) over a deck. The second beam will need to be supported by two posts and span approximately 32 feet. It serves as the other supporting ledger for the aluminum pergola. The aluminum pergola components are to be supplied and installed by StruXure of West Michigan.
Features and Requirements:

- The pergola is lightweight
- The maximum distance between the steel beams will be within the range of 10-20 feet (i.e., 12 feet).
