Structural Engineer Needed for Walls, Entry, and Bathroom remodel at warehouse
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm in need of a skilled structural engineer to help me make some changes to my entryway and bathroom.
We are adding 4 bathrooms, 2 utility rooms, AA d some walls and windows and doors.
Provide complete manufacturer’s specifications, testing, listing, and installation instructions for storefront components. Provide documentation of compliance with CBC Section 2404, wind loads per CBC Section 1609, seismic loads per ASCE 7, section13.5.9, and load resistance per ASTM E1300. Documentation must be specific to this project, and signed/stamped by a Registered Design Professional.
Note/show the following on plans:
a) Mirrors located above lavatories and sinks shall be installed with the bottom
edge of the reflecting surface 40” max. above finish floor. (CBC 11B-603.3). b) All operable parts of accessories shall be 40” max. above finish floor.
(CBC 11B-603.5).
c) Water closet shall be located min. 17” to 18” max. from side wall.
(CBC 11B-604.2).
d) Seat height of a water closet above finish floor shall be 17” min. to 19” max. e) Show side wall grab bar min. 42” long, located 12” max. from rear wall and
extending 54” min. from rear wall with the front end positioned 24” min. in front
of water closet. (CBC 11B-604.5.1).
f) Show rear wall grab bar 36” long, extending from centerline of water closet 12”
min. on one side and 24” min. on the other side. (CBC 11B-604.5.2).
g) Toilet paper dispensers shall be 7” min. and 9” max. in front of the water closet
measured to the centerline of the dispenser. The outlet of the dispenser shall be below the grab bar, 19” min. above the finish floor, and shall not be located behind the grab bar. (CBC 11B-604.7.1).
h) Lavatories and sinks shall be installed with the front of the higher of the rim or counter surface 34” max. above the finish floor. (CBC 606.3).
i) Water supply and drainpipes under lavatories and sinks shall be insulated or otherwise configured to protect against contact. (CBC 11B-606.5).
j) Electrical receptacles shall be located no less than 15” above finish floor level, and light switches located no more than 48” above the finish floor level.
