I need a concise, construction-ready methodology that guides our crew from pre-erection checks through to final bolting. All key documents and drawings are already on hand; what’s missing is a clear written plan that ties them together.
Pre-erection section
• Show how the team confirms drawings, labelled members, crane & rigging readiness, and anchor-bolt positioning before the first lift.
Erection phase – my priority
• Detail the sequence of lifts and, above all, spell out how we hold temporary stability. I will be relying on temporary guys and scaffolding, so your method must explain sizing, fixing points, inspection frequency and safe removal once the permanent bracing is in place.
Safety & verification
• Build in spot-checks for alignment and level at each stage.
• Include practical site safety actions—barricades, signage, PPE reminders—woven into the steps rather than as a standalone list.
Deliverable
A method statement (Word or PDF) that a foreman can follow line-by-line on site, supplemented by any simple sketches or crane position diagrams needed for clarity.
