South African Residential Working Drawings -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I regularly design new-build homes around South Africa and need an experienced draughtsperson to turn my concept sketches and 3D models into a full set of architectural working drawings ready for council submission and on-site construction.
Scope
– Translate supplied sketches, bubble diagrams or Revit/SketchUp models into detailed plans, elevations, sections, roof layouts and site plans.
– Incorporate local code requirements (SANS 10400, municipal bylaws) and typical South African building methods.
– Produce clear door & window schedules, dimensioned details and notes so builders can proceed without ambiguity.
– Deliver both editable CAD (DWG/Revit) and print-ready PDF sheets.
Expect a collaborative process: I’ll mark up revisions; you update promptly until the pack is compliant and signed off. Accuracy, consistency in line weight and layer naming, and a good eye for residential design aesthetics are essential.
