- Design innovative, reliable, and safe small arms for self-defense purposes
Skills & Experience:
- Prior experience in firearms engineering is compulsory, preferably in the design of small arms
- Knowledge of different small arms mechanisms and their operations
- Understanding the principles of self-defense firearms, ensuring optimal safety and reliability
- Ability to work with the latest firearms design software
- Diverse understanding of materials used in arms manufacturing and their pros and cons
- Knowledge of applicable laws and standards in firearms design and manufacturing
I expect the professional to provide design sketches, concepts, detailed design plans and documentation for the small arm. The design should consider the best materials for durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Ability to prototype would also be an attractive bonus.
