Simple tracking device for kids with autism

I’m doing my masters in developing a tracking device for kids with autism to help parents keep an eye on them and keep them safe. It’s a very simple product and design and I want to get it done as fast as possible. I have attached an example of the concept and it’s basically going to be the same but smaller and with softer surface material.
