F1 in Schools Team Car Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for an expert to design a series of model cars for my F1 in Schools team. The design needs to adhere to the F1 in Schools official rules and focus primarily on aerodynamic efficiency. You will need to create four designs, each improving on the last and testing them on ANSYS. Our target is a drag coefficient of under 0.2N.
Key Requirements:
- Design four progressively better models
- Use of ANSYS for testing
- Target a drag coefficient <0.2N
- Design for a miniature model of approximately 250mm
- Propulsion via CO2 canisters
- Heavy emphasis on structural integrity and centre of mass
Deliverables:
- CAD files
- 3D printable files
- Simulation data files
- Detailed documentation describing each part, modifications made for stability and aerodynamic efficiency
- Examples of aerodynamic research conducted for the model
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in CAD software
