Robotics Functional Prototype Development

I'm looking for a skilled Mechanical Hardware Engineer to help create a functional prototype for a robotics project.

Design high-pressure enclosures, propulsion systems, and modular payload pods
• Run structural and fluid simulations (FEA/CFD) to validate design performance
• Build and test hardware using CNC, composites, and 3D printing
• Collaborate with electrical and embedded teams to integrate sensors and payloads
• Conduct real-world bench and in-water testing and analyze performance data

Ideal Skills and Experience:
-3+ years of experience in robotics, marine hardware, aerospace, or mechatronics
• Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360), GD&T, materials selection
• Strong hands-on experience with mechanical prototyping and iterative testing
• Comfort with waterproofing, seals, fasteners, and mechanical integration
• Bonus: Experience with ROVs/AUVs, pressure vessels, corrosion-resistant materials, or FEA/CFD tools
