Revit Families from 2D Drawings -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have 2D DWG drawings of a modular handrail system that need to be converted into 3 Revit families:
(1) Handrail module,
(2) Ballast tray,
(3) GarDIA600 assembly (nesting both).
Geometry must match the DWGs exactly. Welding details for both the handrail and ballast tray must be represented at the assembly level in the GarDIA600 family (clean, solid geometry — no meshes or surface hacks). If any dimension or detail is unclear, please ask before improvising.
Level of detail:
Handrail + Ballast Tray: accurate + clean fabrication-level geometry
GarDIA600 Assembly: LOD 200 (coordination-level, not full fabrication complexity)
Families must be solids, sensible materials applied, and organized so nested content and basic parameters can be updated later. Correct Revit category and family structure required.
After completion, export each family to DWG (3D + plan + elevation) for overlay checks against the source DWGs.
Deliverables:
• Handrail RFA
• Ballast Tray RFA
• GarDIA600 Assembly RFA (with welding shown at assembly level)
• DWG exports for all three
Revit 2020+ preferred. Geometry should be precise and lightweight.
