Produce 3D CAD designs for CNC router of plywood
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking to create some custom kitchen cabinet doors using plywood. I need help producing the CAD files that will be used with the CNC routing machine.
I will be using full sheets of plywood (dimensions: 18x2440x1220mm).
There are 3 different sections that will need to be cut. Here are the dimensions (in mm):
800x600 (4 pieces)
800x300 (2 pieces)
800x400 (2 pieces)
100x1960 (2 pieces)
800x450
800x150
400x600
I believe it will be possible to fit all of these cuts within 2 full sheets of the plywood.
I had a rough go at laying them out the pieces myself:

It was recommended to be that there should be a distance of 15mm between pieces. The plywood will have a grain in one direction and it would be best if all the pieces that share will go next to each other share the same grain direction.
Some of the pieces will need to have some holes drilled for screws and a recessed area for the hinge bracket. The hing hole has a depth of 12mm, with the screw holes being 6mm. I found these files online which can be used as a guide for the location and measurements of these holes: https://xku.io/QqWE - it will be super important that these are hyper accurate.
So your task will be to neatly layout the pieces onto the plywood sheet. Then place the holes for the hinges.
Is this a project that you can help me with? Thanks!
