Metal Storage Building Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm in need of a professional who can create detailed drawings for a metal storage building. I have specific dimensions in mind, and will share these upon discussion.
Ideal skills for this project include:
- Proficiency in CAD or similar design software
- Experience in designing metal buildings
- Understanding of structural integrity and safety standards
Please note, additional features like windows, insulation, and electrical wiring are not required at this stage.
Structural Plans: Create new building plans for the re-erection of your metal building, shortening it from 75 feet to 60 feet while maintaining the material specifications from the original design.
Framing Plans: Develop framing plans for the shortened structure, including the addition of four 10x10 frame-outs on the 60-foot side.
Roof & Ceiling Plans: Design roof and ceiling framing plans to meet code requirements, ensuring the structure can handle Missouri's climate.
Design a foundation system using pier footers to meet the 36-inch frost line requirement in Kansas City, Missouri. This will include details on the concrete slab you plan to install.
Foundation Details: Include necessary foundation and footing details that account for structural load and soil conditions based on local regulations.
Update your existing site plan to reflect the new building location and modifications, showing the proposed placement of the 40x60 metal building and frame-outs. This will include removing any existing structures and connecting the new building to existing utilities (water, sewer, and electric).
Ensure that stormwater, MEP, and any other civil or site-specific elements are handled properly.
Once these milestones are completed, the entire plan set will be ready for submission to the City Planning division in Kansas City, with all necessary Missouri PE and ARC stamps.
