We are a Dorset based startup developing a new method for visualising products online, using 3D photography:

We have built a prototype and successfully beta tested with a number of customers. We are now in the process of improving our prototype & workflow and making it commercially viable. This will involves re designing and improving the current iteration of our image capture device to solve some of the current short comings and add automation.
We are looking for a mechanical engineer to join our team.
Who we hope you'll be:
-Someone who is passionate about the challenge and making the project succeed.
-A hands-on mechanical engineer comfortable with designing and building.
-Someone proficient with CAD design who is able to create drawings/models that are ready for manufacturing.
-Someone able to contribute at least 3 days a week.
-Someone who preferably has some experience talking with suppliers, manufacturers & vendors.
-Someone based in the UK who is able to work remotely but with the ability to meet up with us in person on occasion. Travel will be paid for.
The role and responsibilities:
-Creatively problem solving and designing solutions to enable automation and elevate the image capture process.
-Having a high level understanding of what we are trying to achieve & helping inform the direction we take using your mechanical engineering experience and knowledge.
-Creating 3D CAD models ready for manufacturing
The work will start early/mid October and will be ongoing until March.
