Key Responsibilities:
-Accurate Quantity Take-offs: [Perform precise calculations of materials needed for insulation projects, including piping, fittings, vessels, ductwork, and equipment].
- Assessing insulation needs for industrial piping and ductwork.
- Providing detailed estimates for fiberglass insulation.
-Material and Labor Cost Estimation: [Pricing for insulation materials and determine labor costs for installation, considering factors like project complexity and location].
-Bid Proposal Preparation: [Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for clients, including detailed cost breakdowns and project schedules].
-Review of Bid Documents: [Thoroughly review blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to ensure accurate estimating and prevent errors].
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in industrial insulation estimation
- Proficiency in assessing needs for piping and ductwork
- Familiarity with fiberglass insulation materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Software Proficiency: [FastWRAP, PlanSwift, or others) would be an advantage.
