2d &3d Mechanical Designer Needed
Budget: $20 – $150 NZD
I’m ready to move a new idea from concept to a build-ready state and need a seasoned mechanical designer to guide the process. Because the product category is still fluid, I’m looking for someone who is comfortable switching between consumer product layouts, light industrial mechanisms, or automotive-style assemblies without missing a beat.
Typical deliverables will include:
• Parametric 3D CAD models (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar)
• Fully dimensioned drawings ready for CNC, 3D printing, or sheet-metal fabrication
• A brief design-for-manufacture memo highlighting tolerances, materials, and assembly strategy
If you’re the kind of designer who enjoys starting with a blank sheet, asking the right questions, and translating loose ideas into practical, buildable solutions, let’s talk.
