Manufacturing Technical Drawer Needed

Job ID: 38392137

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

I am in need of an Autocad Inventor Technician or equivalent suitable software.

I have a number of dxf files that are flat patterns produced from a 3D inventor model. Unfortunately the 3D Model has been lost by the person who originally created it.

Each dxf I will provide represents a part of the cabinet that is cut from sheet metal and then folded and welded.

Key Tasks:
- Recreate a new 3D model from the existing .dxf files
- After creation. Make alterations to the model as per my required changes
- Model in the PC inside the cabinet to check it fits. Dimensions will be provided.
- Generate new flat technical drawings that that are clear, accurate, aligned with industry standards and allow a new unit to be manufactured

Please include examples of your past work in your application. A strong background in manufacturing and experience in creating highly detailed technical drawings will be advantageous.

I have attached a pdf of the cabinet and an example dxf file.

The changes I want to make once the model is complete are as follows and perhaps can be made whilst remodelling.

1. Monitor size is changing slightly.
The new Dims are 47.5 x 320 x 688.4
This is helpful as the previous monitor was 62mm deep
I will want to change the glass aperture size once I have a monitor
Power button is on the front so we have to consider that it isn't tight against the glass.

2. The bottom door flap for the keyboard is no longer required.
There are a few considerations to discuss:
- Can we remove the bottom section altogether?
(Will the PC and power supply fit in the main unit, now the monitor is more shallow)
Need to consider Heat generation from PC in a very confined space
- If we need to keep the bottom section, can we reduce the size of it?
We would still need access for fixing points for installation, but could the cover to this section be fixed via countersunk screws screws rather than hinges and locks?

3. We are going to remove the fused spur and have that high level outside of the cab.
The two gang sockets can move to the left as there have been complaints of the cable restraints causing issues with the door closing.
