Make CAD drawings for a simple trolley and the rails

Develop CAD drawings for two items: A trolley and the rails on which the trolley will run.

Both the items will be produced at local steel fabrication shops with readily available materials such as sheets, channels, pipes, etc, mostly by cutting, welding and fastening.

TROLLEY

The trolley will be made of a simple rectangular frame with an overall size of 1.2 m (width) x 3 m (length). It will meet the following requirements:

1. It will have four wheels. The wheels will be like train wheels, that will align with and be constrained by the rails (see below), the way a train is constrained by the rails.

2. All four wheels will swivel to enable the trolley to negotiate curved paths.

3. The trolley will have space for carrying a drive motor, electrical components such as a controller, batteries, and an area of at least 1 m wide x 1.5 m long for carrying payloads of up to 50 kg and some other miscellaneous items/mechanisms.

4. The trolley will have a fixed speed gearbox, differential and a chain drive carrying power to the wheels.

5. The trolley will have a maximum speed of ~30 km/hour.

RAILS

1. The rails will be similar to train rails in function. They will be securely attached to the ground. This is a prototype build and therefore, it doesn't have a high bar for long life or long term performance. Simple and easy to implement methods will be preferred.

2. The trolley will run in a stable way over the rails, without derailment.

3. The rails will have switches, again inspired by and similar to the switches in railways. The switches will be activated through a lever mechanism.

The contractor will provide detailed CAD drawings for the above. There should be drawings showing the overall system as well as a drawing for each part with dimensions and general directions that can be provided to the fabricator..
