Unfortunately, due to many fake freelance profiles, I must ignore those without a history. Those with a small history must have verifiable ID, credentials, license (or license use agreement), etc.

Seeking a qualified residential structural engineer with a valid Minnesota license to review and stamp CAD drawings for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate must have experience in frost protected footing schemes, grade beams, and retaining wall design, and must be detail-oriented to ensure all project specifications are met. Please review the attached drawings thoroughly before submitting your proposal. Budget is set between $400-$500 depending on qualifications and timeline.

-Soil report not needed. 1500-2000psf known.
-42" frost line. Frost engineering experience preferred.

Adding an excavated well for stairs and access to a basement door. Existing 1980's structure with 12" thick CMU block wall. Have Sketchup file and 2D images attached. I am a licensed general contractor for personal projects.

-Provide 2 sketch ideas of how to approach the engineering.
-No use of overhead strut.
-One approach with the use of grade beams from the primary structure footing to the outer frost wall, with a Frost Protected Shallow Footing Scheme.
-One approach using a traditional 42" frost walls everywhere and underpinning primary structure.

Only the chosen approach with be stamped. I need to provide multiple sketches to my contractor for bidding and deciding which will be stamped and submitted to the city.

-You are bidding to provide 2 preliminary sketch schemes, then one fully calculated scheme with Minnesota PE stamp. Bid amount must not change. Ask any questions needed.
