Industrial NFPA Fire System Design
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a qualified fire-protection engineer to design a complete NFPA-compliant solution for an industrial facility. The scope covers both a wet-pipe sprinkler network and an integrated fire-detection and alarm system. I already have architectural and mechanical backgrounds in DWG format, so you will be working from those files to overlay the protection layout and run your calculations.
The end product must satisfy the latest NFPA standards that apply to industrial occupancies, including all density, hazard-classification and spacing requirements. Please allow for interface points with the building-management system and any auxiliary functions (monitor modules, flow and tamper switches, etc.) that NFPA calls for.
Deliverables I expect:
• Full-size CAD (and PDF) drawings showing sprinkler piping, head locations, alarm devices, control panels and riser details
• Hydraulic calculations and node summaries that demonstrate code compliance
• Equipment schedules and data sheets tied to the proposed layout
• A short narrative report explaining design assumptions, hazard classification and how each NFPA criterion has been met
I will handle permitting locally, but the submission package has to be complete enough for an authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) review without extra rework. Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCALC or similar software is important so that file exchange goes smoothly.
Please include examples of past industrial fire-protection designs you have signed off or helped bring through approval. Let me know your turnaround time for initial drawings and for any revisions that may be requested by the AHJ.
