High-Performance Residential Electrical Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I'm in the process of building a high-performance house and need an expert in residential electrical design. This project is focused on creating an energy-efficient, modern home with advanced electrical features. 3 Phase power connected and Smart meter.
Schematic drawing and BOM required for installation by the selected electrical contractor.
Building draft plans, solar specifications and other documentation will be made available.
Desirable - Location near Fraser Coast region (Poona) to inspect/test the installation at specific milestones if required.
Key Requirements:
- Integrate a 13.2 solar system located on my shed and a planned battery and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) arrangement into the design.
- Implement LED lighting throughout the house.
- Incorporate smart thermostats to enhance climate control and energy savings. (Dehum products)
- Enable VPP integration into the house using the current solar PV installation.
Standards & Certifications:
- The electrical design must comply with the Energy Star certification and AS3000.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in residential electrical design, particularly for high-performance homes.
- Deep understanding and practical experience with solar power integration.
- Proven track record of designing for Energy Star certification.
- Proficiency in implementing LED lighting and smart home technology.
