Help with finding software and providing assistance to laser engrave a sphere without a rotary attachment

I am after some assistance in finding a free software that can be used to laser engrave a sphere (evenly and correctly) without the laser engraving machine having a rotary attachment. The program will need to work with mac computers and some assistance may be needed with the task. The code will need to be in GRBL form - Thanks
