Electric Car Electrical Specialist
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
The task at hand is to turn a single concept image of my future battery-powered car into a realistic, build-ready electrical system. I already have people who can handle 3D work in Blender and the mechanical layout; what I need right now is someone who can own the electrical assembly side from concept through first prototype.
You will translate the high-level vision into a complete, safe and serviceable setup—choosing the right motor and controller, sizing and arranging the battery modules, laying out both high- and low-voltage harnesses, and specifying all protection, charging and monitoring hardware. Along the way you will be collaborating closely with the Blender designer (for packaging and mounts) and the mechanical assembler (for brackets, cooling and enclosure requirements).
Key deliverables
• System architecture diagram with component selections
• Wiring schematics, connector list and cable schedule
• Bill of materials with vendor links and lead times
• Assembly & safety guidelines for the first physical prototype
• Test plan for bench and on-vehicle validation
To help me gauge fit, please focus your proposal on your relevant experience—projects you’ve taken from paper to functioning hardware, especially in EV, e-bike or robotics contexts. If you already have off-the-shelf solutions or clever ways to keep costs sensible at this early stage, feel free to mention them.
Communication will be done in stages so we can iterate quickly, and I’m open to creative ideas as long as they keep the ultimate goal—a fully functional electric car—front and center.
