Drafter to draw up a piece of historic equipment from pics and sketches

Job ID: 37286709

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

Documenting a historical hand-moulding machine

I am documenting a piece of traditional hand-operated machinery as a heritage project. I have detailed measurements, pics and sketches and need these turned into annotated technical drawings and exploded component drawings to add to a report. Its not a particularly big or complicated machine - most of the components are minimally shaped pieces of wood - and was put together simply.

There is a minor complication - I'm in Australia and the machine is in New Zealand so it will be a three-stage process - [1] drafting from my pics and sketches, [2] sending draft over to the bloke, who will check it against the machine and then [3] you will add to / fix the drawings as required.

I'm after three drawings (elevations, oblique, exploded components), in a format and scaleable so I can drop as graphics in the report. I will need the IP explicitly transferred to me since the report will be in the public domain. The drafter should be experienced with historic machinery and able to produce drawings that look good and convey the heft and character of the piece rather than just be technically exact and thin and gormless [the item, not you].
