Dimensioned drawings of door and frame to allow metalwork manufacturing
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I would like someone to design me a door frame and door using x2 or x3 Soss218 hinges (spec and drawings here https://www.soss.com/product/model-218-invisible-hinge/#tab-title-drawings ). The receiver for the hinges in the door and frame will be machined out of solid 50mm x 50mm steel box section and this will be welded into a 50mm x 100mm frame.
To save you time there are cad files of the hinges provided by the manufacturer and these can be used with a suitable clearance provided to allow them to be recessed correctly.
The position of the hinge in the frame and door is critical to ensure it opens/closes perfectly and requires the designer to carefully review the specification. There are clearance detail drawings on the above link.
This door is to open 90 degrees only
The frame should be a simple 3 sided (top and 2 sides) construction. The door needs to have a simple 4 sided construction that will be strengthened during manufacture
Dimensions of the frame and door will be provided to the successful bidder
Dimensioned Drawings to allow manufacture of the frame must be provided
