Design electronics product enclosure to be manufactured using injection molding -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am looking for a skilled freelancer to design an electronics product enclosure that will be manufactured using injection or vacuum casting. Initial plan is to create a silicone mold for low volume testing. The desired size of the enclosure is 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.
Design Requirements:
- The client has specific functionality requirements or preferences, and trusts the freelancer's expertise in creating an optimal design for the functionality.
-The client has access to 3D printer which could be used to build prototypes and initial casting molds.
- functionality includes:
1. Separate weight measurement for 100g-3000g and 0.1g-100g
2. Enclosure for induction coil such that it snuggly fits below the tempered glass panel
3. Wire management such that nothing is visible outside
4. Milk dispenser along the lines of client’s idea to reduce bacterial growth and easy cleaning of parts
5. Multiple areas for vent fans to remove heat and water vapor out of the device
6. Rotatable spoon attached to weight sensor to dispense precise weight of spices
Material Preference:
- The client prefers the enclosure to be made of polyurethane.
- the client has access to 3D printer which could be used to make some parts and casting molds
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in designing product enclosures for injection molding.
- Knowledge of polyurethane as a material for injection molding.
- Ability to create a design that meets the desired size specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create precise and accurate designs.
- Excellent communication skills to understand and meet the client's requirements.
