2D DWG to SolidWorks Model
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I have a fully-dimensioned DWG/DXF that needs to become a production-ready 3D model in SolidWorks 2020. Every feature shown on the drawing must be recreated exactly, with all sketches and features kept fully parametric so I can adjust dimensions later if the machine shop comes back with feedback.
Standard tolerances already called out in the drawing are sufficient; no special GD&T is required. The only areas that demand extra care are the critical dimensions highlighted on the print—please double-check those before sending the files across.
Assign a generic steel material to the part so mass properties read correctly on my end.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks 2020 file (.sldprt or .sldasm, depending on part count)
• STEP file for the shop
A quick turnaround would be ideal, and I’m available to clarify anything about the geometry or dimensioning before you start.
