Custom Linear Sheet Metal Spring Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking to replace a conventional compression spring with a tailored linear sheet metal spring. This new spring should mimic the reaction of the original spring, which operates in an orthogonal direction rather than a compression direction.
Key Requirements:
- Material: The spring should be made of Hardened 65Mn
- Performance: The spring needs to meet specific overall dimensions (which I can provide) and ideally be made with standard thickness. We can discuss this further.
- Environment: The spring will be used in an industrial setting, with potential exposure to chemicals. Therefore, it needs to be durable and resistant to wear.
