CamWorks Post for Trak RX5

Job ID: 40002447

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a custom CamWorks post processor tailored to a Trak DPM-RX5 knee mill. The post must output proven G-code that the ProtoTRAK controller accepts without manual edits and, critically, it has to handle 4th-axis pre-indexing.

I will be testing with a few real parts, so please keep the code lean—no unnecessary sub-programs or redundant safety moves—while still following standard Fanuc-style structure that ProtoTRAK expects. I rely heavily on CamWorks Machine Simulation, therefore the post should drive that module correctly as well; if the simulation shows a crash or an out-of-limits fault it must reflect what happens at the machine.

Deliverables
• CamWorks *.pst (or *.ctl, *.mch, etc.) file set ready to load
• All editable source files generated in EC Edit (or your chosen editor)
• A short PDF/TXT change log explaining key blocks and variables you touched
• Two sample CamWorks part files and their exported NC programs that demonstrate 4th-axis indexing for angled drilling; they must run on my RX5 without alarms

Acceptance
I will confirm the post by running the supplied NC on my Trak and inspecting positioning accuracy on each indexed hole pattern. No dwell or feed errors, and the spindle orientation must hold between index moves. Once that passes, the milestone is complete.

The sooner I can drop this post into our shop’s workflow, the better—let me know your timeline for first test cuts.
