CNC Plywood BMX Manual Trainer Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for an experienced CAD designer to develop a CNC router design for a BMX Manual Trainer.
Ideally, the trainer should be:
- Designed with moderate durability in mind; it doesn't need to be indestructible, but it should last for good number of years when used as intended.
- Made primarily from plywood, I prefer its affordability, aesthetic and workability in a CNC environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience with CAD software and CNC router projects
- A good understanding of the BMX and cycling industry would be beneficial
- Practical knowledge of working with plywood in design and manufacturing.
- I have provided pictures of 2 similar products available in the marketplace I am happy with something similar but the design is NOT TO BE A COPY.
- When the successful designer is chosen I will share the wheel and tyre sizes I want it to work with
- When the project is complete I want the .DXF files for cutting with reliefs for CNC manufacture and a 3D render of the product to use for promotional purposes.
Please provide examples of similar projects when bidding. Keep in mind that aesthetics, function, and cost of materials will be key decision factors in this project.
