2D CAD to SketchUp Conversion -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have four CAD files (3 floor plan drawings and 1 elevation drawing) in DWG that I need converted into clean, 2D‐only SketchUp files. The priority is preserving every dimension and measurement exactly as they appear in the original, so the finished SKP must open with all scaled information intact for immediate drafting work.
No extra editing, redesign, or annotation work is required once the file is in SketchUp; the task ends with a faithful conversion that I can open and work on.
I am NOT looking for any 3D models.
Deliverables
• SketchUp (.skp) files that mirror the source drawing’s geometry and dimensions
• Any brief notes on layer handling decisions, if changes were necessary
If you routinely move data between AutoCAD (DWG/DXF) and SketchUp and can guarantee dimensional fidelity, this should be a straightforward assignment.
