CAD MODEL OF Two-Axis OCT Gimbal Design Needed
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I'm seeking a skilled designer (ANY CAD SOFTWARE IS FINE) to create a two-axis gimbal for an Optical Communication Terminal (OCT). The gimbal will support data transmission, and needs to be outdoor-use ready with weatherproofing. The control system will be fully automated.
Key Requirements:
- Field of regard: ±110° Azimuth, ±45° Elevation
- Zero backlash
- Mass under 6kg
- Mechanical stops at extreme ends
- M5 mounting provisions on base
OCT Specs:
- Size: 120x100x100 mm
- Mass: 2 kg (uniform distribution)
- 6x M3 tapped holes on bottom face for mounting
Deliverables:
- STEP file of the complete gimbal unit
- Engineering drawing of one part
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical design expertise
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience with FEA and torque calculations
- Familiarity with BLDC motors and bearings
