CAD Designer for Phone Case Development -- 2

About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and technically proficient CAD Designer with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in CAD software—preferably Fusion 360—to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will have experience bringing digital designs to life through rapid prototyping and working with materials like PU-510 or similar elastomers. You will play a crucial role in developing robust, functional, and manufacturable phone case designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred).
Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering models and manufacturing-ready outputs.
Realize designs through rapid prototyping methods such as 3D printing, silicone casting, or CNC.
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs, interpret results, and make iterative improvements.
Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process FMEA (PFMEA)to identify potential issues and ensure design robustness.
Select appropriate materials (with focus on PU-510 or equivalents) based on functional requirements and manufacturability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
Support manufacturing by preparing detailed technical documentation, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
Maintain organized design files and revision history in a PLM or version-controlled environment.
