Responsibilities:
• Design and refine automotive parts using industry-standard CAD software
• Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet performance, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements
• Revise designs based on feedback and evolving project needs
• Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Experience in automotive part design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality designs
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and feedback
• Availability to work 5–10 hours per week
• Based in Atlanta, GA, with the ability to occasionally meet in person if needed
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with materials and manufacturing processes for automotive components
• Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
• Previous experience working on freelance or contract design projects
