Airsoft M240B Box Mag CAD Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The project involves creating a 3D CAD design for an Airsoft M240B Box Mag insert. This insert's intent is to allow the use of common realsteel 7.62 100rd belt boxes for feeding and resupply - aiming for heightened realism. The box should be standalone and be able to contain BBs on its own. It should be able to both mount and feed to the replica. Feed tubes such as tension springs are acceptable.
The dimensions I have are approximate, so a proficient knowledge and understanding of 3D design software to extrapolate these measurements is crucial. Freelancers with previous CAD experience, especially in parts design and 3D printing, will be ideal. I have exact dimensions of the 100rd belt boxes, and it will be fed using a continuous servo and a speed controller, which will be housed at the bottom of the box. I have CAD files of the feed housing and how it mounts to the replica itself.
The focus of the project is on the functionality rather than the material. Therefore, I only require STL files for 3D printing the designed part. The freelancer should be well-versed with exporting designs into printer-ready files.
