ADA Compliance Drawings Update -- 2
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The scope of work includes (but not limited to) practical removal of access barriers to the path of travel from the Marin County Jail and the courts.
Under the readily achievable barrier removal standard of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) the facility must comply with both the ADA and the California Building Code. Specific items to be modified include items from an iternal CASp Inspection Report and must pass a 3rd party CASp inspection at the completion of the project.
Items where detailing is required along with an enlagged plan view (provided) include:
- Stairways at Stair Chair
- Ramp
- Corridor Steps
- Corridor from steps to Elevators
- Doors to Holding
- Stairs to Holding
- Judges Entrance
- Exterior Path to Main Entrance
