I need Desktop Application developer..
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a program that can receive the input from scanning a serial number and enter it into a database. Then when the next serial number is scanned the program will enter that number as well but also compare it to all numbers that have been previously scanned to ensure there are no duplicates. This software needs to run on a Windows 10 PC, and would prefer the stored table for referencing be a SQL database.
Here is where it gets tricky, if the scanned serial number IS a duplicate, or if the scanner did was not able to read a serial number at all, I need the program to halt, give a visible error, and require an assigned person to clear the error before proceeding to the next scan. Ideally I would also like a counter on the screen that shows how many scans have been performed, how many were good, and how many were bad. This function also needs to be able to be cleared by an authorized person. Authorization need to be either a PIN code entered or password
