c# gui app that does bulk operations with 7-zip windows
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a simple c# gui app that will let me do various bulk activities utilizing 7-zip underlying for the work. we will start with this one operation and expand in the future with needed things.
- browse folders on the machine and select 1 or more to create an archive of the folder and when done remove the folder. would be good to set the compression type and compression level. after the operation happens it can "test"the archive before deleting the content.
for the ui i imagine a tree control with table view like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ttpythkq0r2p7e/2021-09-09_15-51-14.png?dl=0 except in the table you also have a checkbox. while checking this screen i do like the path input at the top so you can get to a known directory quickly. I do like the idea of saying the file count in the folder as well as the size of the folder.
once you select the folders you want, it would be good if the screen shows the folders and the progress being made on each, something to reflect some of this key data - https://www.dropbox.com/s/4plqjgd84ijnjh8/2021-09-09_15-53-07.png?dl=0 - im thinking maybe the table looks something like this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T1QKSX3bbcIlrvQZC3rO4l8CE339ZPedPPSvm257y9Y/edit?usp=sharing
as far as threading, im open to ideas on if we want to be able to run more than a folder at a time, i prefer in cases like this to make it a user setting but i dont want the scope/cost to be too high here
please include the answer to 5+7 in your bid so i know its not a bot.
