Windows Virtual Soundcard Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a developer to create a Virtual Soundcard for Windows. The installer should be able to install this feature on the client machine. Once the installation is complete, the Sound Settings should reflect a Virtual Soundcard as shown in the attached image.
Key Requirements:
- The Virtual Soundcard should support both playback and recording, equivalent to a Speaker and a Microphone, in 1 virtual device.
- Its operations need to be independent from any other virtual soundcard software.
- The microphone should be displayed in the Sound Settings as separate playback and recording devices.
- It work without any errors with Windows 7 and above, both x86 and x64 systems.
- We can change the name of the Virtual Soundcard from the source code (client can't change)
- It's a plus if you can set the Virtual Soundcard as default device after installed.
Once the progress is completed, we need to have the Source code and Documentation on how to build the .exe installer in C#
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Proficiency in C# and Windows application development.
- Experience with creating virtual audio devices.
- Understanding of Windows Sound Settings infrastructure.
Note: The specifics regarding noise cancellation, echo suppression, and volume adjustment functionality, as well as the formats for playback and recording (MP3, WAV, FLAC) have not been determined yet. However, if you have suggestions based on your expertise, they would be appreciated.
