We are seeking an experienced Windows desktop application developer to create a user-friendly GUI dashboard that interfaces with WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux 2) running Ubuntu. The application will allow users to manage and control processes inside the WSL2 environment directly from Windows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a Windows desktop application with a graphical user interface.
- Implement functionality to accept a WireGuard configuration file via drag-and-drop.
- Automate the setup and connection of WireGuard VPN within the WSL2 environment using the provided configuration file. Able to track and stop the process as well
- Provide controls to start, monitor, and stop Linux commands and processes within WSL2.
- Display real-time status updates of running processes in the GUI.
- Ensure seamless communication and data transfer between the Windows application and WSL2.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Windows desktop application development (e.g., C#, .NET, WPF, Electron).
- Strong understanding of WSL2 and its integration with Windows.
- Proficiency in executing Linux commands from Windows applications.

- Familiarity with file transfer between Windows and WSL2 environments.
