Visual Studio .net Loop through all json files in a selected forlder and make numeric modification
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We want to create a simple application that allows you to select a folder from your computer. Once selected you click a process button that will look into that folder and sub-folders for .geojson or json documents. It will then loop through all the features of the document and look for coordinates. The documents we are working with have geo coordinates with 14 decimal places. We need to be able to select how many decimal places we want and round the numbers to the correct new decimal place. Once the corrections are made it needs to save the document as "originalFilename-compressed.json" in the same folder as the original.
The attached image is roughly what we would like the form to look like. Max Decimal Length field would be a dropdown with numbers from 4-12. The Files Processed box would display all the files that were compressed.
The attached sample.json is a very small version of what we are dealing with. Most of our json documents are 200MB. If you need an example of one of these documents please let me know.
