We are seeking an experienced freelancer who has worked extensively on Video Management Software (VMS) solutions and has strong knowledge of Network Video Recorders (NVR/NeVR) and software development. The ideal candidate should be able to design, develop, and optimize video surveillance solutions with seamless integration to hardware and third-party systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop modules for Video Management Systems (live view, playback, recording, event management).
Work with NeVR systems for video capture, storage, and streaming.
Integrate VMS with cameras, IoT devices, and external APIs.
Implement advanced features such as motion detection, video analytics, and alarm triggers.
Optimize system performance for scalability and reliability.
Provide technical documentation and support.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Video Management Software development.
Hands-on expertise with NVR/NeVR systems and video recording protocols.
Strong programming skills in C++ / C# / Java / Python (depending on your stack).
Familiarity with RTSP, ONVIF, H.264/H.265 streaming protocols.
Experience with database backends (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL) for video metadata.
Knowledge of cloud-based VMS solutions is a plus.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system integration skills.
