Project Title: Database Design (Models and DbContext) for Enterprise Inventory and Sales Management
Project Overview:
The project involves designing a robust .Net core models layer for an enterprise engaged in Inventory Management and Sales Management. The system should efficiently handle inventory tracking, stock management, sales operations, and related functionalities for multiple branches.
Requirements:
Inventory Management:
a. Items are received at a central warehouse from multiple suppliers.
b. Items are received in batches, with each batch having different pricing (cost price and MRP).
c. Each batch can have multiple offers based on the quantity purchased by the customer.
d. Maintain and calculate stock levels for each item per batch.
e. Track the in and out transactions of items with date/time and initiator details.
f. Allow for the return of items to suppliers.
Sales Management:
a. The enterprise operates through multiple branches for selling items.
b. Items are allocated to different branches, not necessarily available in all branches.
c. Batches of items are allocated to different branches.
d. Offers of items are allocated to different branches, with variations across branches.
e. At any given time, only one active batch should be available for selling items in a store.
f. Calculate stock levels per item per batch per store.
g. Track stock sold, stock available, and calculate profit.
h. Capture and manage customer details.
i. Store and manage invoice details.
Technical Specifications:
Utilize SQL to ensure data integrity, security, and efficient querying.
Create appropriate relationships between tables for seamless data flow.
