Upgrade an existing directory listing web app
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
An existing web app exists built with .NET Core, MVC, Razor, SQL Server, Redis, and Elastic Search hosted on Azure. We want to migrate SQL Server to Cosmos DB. Source code for the existing website will be provided.
The final architecture must be .NET 5, MVC, Razor, Cosmos DB, Redis, Azure Search, hosted on Azure. The existing Bootstrap theme must be replaced with the Bootstrap 5 Finder theme https://finder.createx.studio/real-estate-home.html
----- New Functionality -----
Users will be able to create one or more "Business Profiles," which will be listed in a category (see below). Business profiles will consist of about ten fields. Adding a Business Profile will use Finder Add Property UI and My Properties UI for the Business Profile owner. Property UI will be used for the public profile page linked from the category page.
Categories consist of a URL (/:CATEGORY_URL), and a title. We don't need admin CRUD/UI for Categories at this time as we will create Category records in Cosmos DB directly. Categories will use Finder Listing Page UI.
Any verified user can leave reviews. When a review is created, calculate a publish date of an app_setting-configurable number of days from the submission date. Until the publish date has passed, the review should only show to administrators and the user who created it with an "In Review" indicator. When a review is created, the business profile owner should receive an email, and the review should be posted to a Slack webhook for the administrators.
----- Improvements to Existing Functionality -----
Users will also be able to "claim" their listing by uploading a PDF copy of their government license which will be verified, linking the license to the user in the directory. Users who have created a business profile can optionally show their business profile instead of the listing information on their license. Listings will also use Finder Add Property UI and My Properties UI.
