Unity-based Roman Fantasy RPG Development
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I'm seeking an experienced Unity developer to create a text-based online multiplayer RPG project for me. The game will be real-time with elements of combat, non-combat, politics and social life. The game is set in a Roman-themed fantasy world.
This initial phase I will want the developer to focus on includes:
- **Account Management**: Implement a free-to-start database (SQL, NoSQL, Firebase, or any other solution) for login and signup.
- **Lobby Creation**: Develop a lobby system where players can gather before the game.
- **Character Generation**: This includes creating a system for customizable character appearances, stat allocation, skill selection, and background creation.
- **Teaching**: Provide me with some basic guidance on how to build the game world.
I will need ongoing support as the project expands with new features and world-building. The ideal freelancer will have extensive experience in Unity, a creative approach to game development, and a willingness to collaborate (and teach) over the long term.
While I do want to bring users into the game world, the most important thing for me is learning how to code using Unity.
