UWP App Enhancement & SQLite Database Modification
Budget: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 INR
Project Overview:
Looking for an experienced C# UWP developer to enhance the functionality of an existing inventory management application. Additionally, the project requires modifications to the SQLite database design to accommodate changes in the Bill of Materials tab/page, along with an export and import data feature that supports Excel and CSV file formats. There are also some issues with the backend-frontend connection that need to be resolved.
Scope of Work:
-Enhancing Application Functionality:
-Implement new features based on project requirements.
Modifying SQLite Database Design:
-Alter existing database schema to support the changes in the Bill of Materials tab/page.
-Ensure data integrity and migration from the old schema to the new one.
Implementing Data Import and Export Features:
-Develop functionality to import data from Excel and CSV files with acceptable data points.
-Enable export of data in both Excel and CSV formats.
-Validate imported data to prevent inconsistencies.
Fixing Backend-Frontend Connection Issues:
-Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues between the UI and backend.
-Ensure seamless data synchronization between the frontend and SQLite database.
Required Skills:
-Strong expertise in C# and UWP development.
-Proficiency in SQLite database design and optimization.
-Experience in working with MVVM architecture in UWP.
-Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
-Familiarity with XAML for UI development.
-Experience in implementing import/export functionality for Excel and CSV files.
-Debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve backend-frontend connection issues.
Deliverables:
-Updated UWP application with enhanced functionalities.
-Modified and optimized SQLite database schema for the Bill of Materials tab/page.
-Fully functional data import/export feature for Excel and CSV files.
-Fixed backend-frontend connection issues.
-Well-documented code and database migration instructions.
As of now the database for Bill of Materials is made for a fixed number of materials for a product and each quantity and material has its column which isn't ideal, the database has to be redesigned
Additionally, for a materials page tab, there needs to be a drop-down for a 'category' section. These are the basic initials that have to be fixed. There should be a new feature of stats for a product's production (to be added) and an alert system for 'low on materials' for raw materials.
