Troubleshooting with calling the events in VB.NET

Job ID: 39209795

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I'm experiencing issue with a custom menu in my VB.NET application. The specifics of the problem are yet to be determined as I have not been able to resolve the problem myself.

What I'm looking for:
- A professional with extensive years of experience in VB.NET, preferably with versions up to 2010.
- Someone who can troubleshoot and fix the menu issues in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

Fix the code to stop the events being blocked while the contextmenu is display.

Ideal Skills:

Strong UI/UX development expertise. Experience in resource management in VB.NET/C++ development.

Familiarity with ToolStripRenderer and UI functionality.

Current Issue:

I am using a toolstrip to add the toolstriplabels to make custom menu with custom background and custom hover color of the "File" menu to change the backcolor. When I hover on the “File” menu, it will change the backcolor of the “File” menu and when I click on it, it will show the contextmenu. However, when I hover on “Edit”, “View”…etc labels while the contextmenu is still showing, it will block the events like hover, mousedown, mousemove, mouseenter, mouseleave and timer events and any other events

I have already tried using the TrackPopupMenuEx, it will make no difference. While I was able to add a grip next to the "File" menu, I want to achieve to make the menu as the native default like Windows Vista/7 and xp menu style with hover backcolor of the labels while showing the contextmenu.

Payment:

$100 upon completion. ⏳
Deadline: 1 day.
Project is already set up.

I look forward to working with someone with highly skilled — no time-wasters please. Thank you for your interested.
