Transfer Advice- Must have Acumatica Experience
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
1. Add a button on IN304000 (transfers) called “transfer advice” that will create a pop up
(see current picture)
2. The pop up(which will look like add items) will include the following filters:
a. Transfer Types (which will which have the following defaults) (the steps are to automate other selections)
i. “Replenishment”
1. Sets Calc Method to “Maximum”
2. Sets Transfer Out Qty to “Available”
3. Sets Transfer In Qty to “Up to Maximum”
ii. “Shuttle”
1. Sets Calc Method to “Balanced”
2. Sets Transfer Out Qty to “Available”
3. Sets Transfer In Qty to “Up to Maximum”
iii. “Sweep”
1. Sets Calc Method to “Maximum”
2. Sets Transfer Out Qty to “Surplus Over Max”
3. Sets Transfer In Qty to “All”
b. From Loc (which will be a lookup of warehouses) - will auto populate from INRegister. SiteID, but can be changed
c. To Loc (which will be a lookup of warehouses) - will auto populate with INRegister. ToSiteID
d. Evaluation Locs - (which will be a multi-selector of all warehouses) - will auto populate with INRegister. ToSiteID, but additional warehouses can be selected
e. Calc Method (list of calc methods, which include - Maximum, Balanced)
f. Transfer Out Qty (list of transfer out types, which include - Available, Surplus Over Max)
g. Transfer in Qty (list of transfer in types, which includes - All, Up to Maximum)
3. When the calc method, transfer out qty, transfer in qty are selected the qty to process will reflect appropriately will do the following:
a. All calculations will be a sum of all warehouses selected in Evaluation Locs, grouped by inventoryID)
Calc Methods
Maximum- Will show max qty- available qty
Balanced – calculates available stock to max qty % from Eval locs and applies that % to determine how much needs to get replenished for the to location so all the location have the same available stock of max % – **Exception** if the hard demand for the to loc is higher than the calculated balanced number, it will show hard demand number
Transfer Out Qty
Available – will calculate the difference between the available qty and reorder point of the from loc for and will show that qty to replenish the to warehouse - **Exception** if the hard demand for the to loc is higher than the calculated available qty-reorder point, it will show hard demand number
Surplus over Max– will calculate the available qty greater than max qty of the from location and send to the to location
Transfer In Qty
All – show total qty from surplus over max
Up to Maximum – show qty only up to the max of the to loc
4. On the grid level of the pop up we will need the following fields (this will be a sum of all warehouses selected in Evaluation Locs, grouped by inventoryID)
a. Checkbox
b. Qty To Process -based on above calc methods, transfer out qty, and transfer in qty
c. Inventory ID
d. Inventory ID Description
e. Base Unit
f. Qty Available
g. Qty on Hard Demand - ([[ QtyHardDemand.QtyHardDemand+Qty. SO Booked
h. Replenishment Demand - Min( Qty. on Demand - Qty on Hard Demand, 0)
