TIA Portal migration Tool using C# via Openness

This project involves the development of a migration tool in MS Visual Studio using C# software to convert HMI files created using the TIA Comfort v16-19 editor files to Unified HMI files. The project requires the creation of sample HMI files using all the features available in the TIA Comfort v16-19 editor files and converting them to Unified HMI files using the latest version of migration tool Data2Unified. The tool will need to read data from the Comfort XML and write/update into Unified HMI XML file programmatically. The conversion/upgrade process will be mainly autonomous and generic enough for any Comfort HMI app to migrate to Unify. The project requires the conversion of various features such as Template, Global Screen, Permanent Area, Slide-In Screen, Popup-Screen, objects, elements, functions, and events. The project requires lower level plumbing work and knowledge of OpenPLCliberary and Siemens SiVArc will be advantageous. After discussions, the developer will have the opportunity to rebid with a fixed amount and delivery time. The client will own all the work developed, and the developer will submit all the work done - source codes, supporting docs, testing apps, user manual, etc.
